Hello World
Must let you all know that there is very little space to book a holiday at my Beach Hut.
This has been the busiest year, because the weather has been so amazing. Already today I have received 8 enquiries for this weekend. The family who are at the Beach Hut this weekend will be the envy of so many people.
I would suggest very strong sun cream for everyone, large hats and umbrellas, be safe. If you are thinking of BBQ, this could be a dangerous time, so every precaution should be taken. Today there is a warning regarding the water supply, see below
Can you please advise your members of the works as planned by Sembcorp for next week, and specifically that they will be shutting off the water supply between 2200hrs and 0300hrs next Thursday night (11th).
This work is essential to make sure that the supply to the Sandbank can’t go ‘back’ into the main at Hengistbury Head, so we really don’t have a choice as to when they carry it out.
Do you think it will actually be worth closing the toilets for this period? I’d like to think with the amount of huts that will be occupied we can get away without having to do that, I’d appreciate your thoughts.
I have heard they will try to keep the toilets open to help the resident hutters for the night.
If you at the Hengistbury Head Spit please be vigilant and watch for any hazardous signs, children swimming out too far, dogs that have been hooked up in the sun and any likelihood of non safe fires. Thank you for helping everyone and keeping this fabulous area safe to be enjoyed forever.
